• Valid cosmetology license in the state you are applying to work.

Still in cosmetology school and looking to gain experience right away? With at least 500 hours, you can start working on the floor and receive exclusive Hair Stylist Academy training (valid only in Massachusetts or if approved by your cosmetology program).
