PATIENT SERVER (FULL TIME) role at Compass One Healthcare
.

Location:

Brockton Behavioral Health Center - 34 North Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301. Online applications accepted only.

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections, delivering trays, and during catering rounds.
• Takes patients menu selections prior to each meal and ensures dietary restrictions are followed within diet orders.
• Assists with assembling trays according to patients’ menu selections and tray tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate and patient food needs are met.
• Retrieves trays from patients’ rooms and maintains current information for each patient on assigned unit(s).
• Monitors patients on NPO or special diets with the dietitian and assists with related documentation and reporting.
• Follows facility and departmental policies for sanitation, safety, HIPAA, confidentiality, and infection control.
• Works to support patient satisfaction goals by providing high-quality service and adhering to HACCP guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
