Job Title
Registered Nurse – SRHS

Sexual & Reproductive Health Services, multiple locations in SE Mass
Full time, one evening required
Salary: $80,000 per year

Duties- Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services, the RN will be responsible for working in partnership with the clinical team to provide medical services.
- Supporting the provision of abortion services through chart review, patient eligibility screening, medication administration, and recovery care.
- Performing limited ultrasound for gestational dating.
- Coordinating timely patient medical follow‑up based on medical provider recommendations, including contacting patients, scheduling follow‑up appointments and coordinating care per protocols.
- Administering vaccines and injections, monitoring and providing post‑injection education.
- Providing clients with non‑judgmental and accurate information regarding reproductive health issues, abortion, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, HIV, Hepatitis, pregnancy options, and pregnancy prevention.
- Performing routine lab functions and testing including phlebotomy, urine pregnancy testing, HIV and Hepatitis testing and preparing specimens for transport.
- Triaging post‑procedure patient care, rooming patients, obtaining and recording client’s medical history including gynecological, obstetrical and sexual history.
- Providing service navigation including linking patients to care and providing referrals.
- Utilizing the electronic health record system to maintain clinical records including accurate and complete documentation of patient information according to established protocols and funder guidelines.
- Reviewing and reconciling lab results.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A current MA nursing license and CPR certification.
- 2+ years of experience providing direct patient care in a health care setting.
- Ability to use a computer and electronic medical record.
- Excellent communication skills including a professional, non‑judgmental, client‑centered demeanor.
- Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese speaking; prior OB/GYN experience.
