Position Summary
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team, providing prompt, courteous, customer‑focused service to patients, visitors, and coworkers at Boston Medical Center. They are responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions, contributing to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

Education- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to lift without any limitations
$17.40 – $25.85 per hour. This range is an estimate based on minimum qualifications; compensation is determined by education, experience, and related certifications.
