Position SummaryA leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic HR leadership and hands‑on partnership to designated business units within a complex, highly regulated environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in organizational development, change management, and employee relations, and who is comfortable advising senior leaders in a large enterprise setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Partner with business unit leadership to provide coaching, consultation, and support on leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, and employee engagement.
- Proactively develop and implement value-added HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by deeply understanding business challenges and translating them into effective people strategies.
- Align HR policies and practices with organizational goals while promoting enterprise-wide consistency and best practices.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state and federal employment laws.
- Coach leaders on performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions when employee concerns arise.
- Support work with represented populations and multiple collective bargaining agreements.
Talent & Organizational Development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring strategies align with business needs.
- Collaborate with Organizational Development teams to implement career development and succession planning initiatives.
- Support workforce planning, restructuring, and reorganization efforts, including talent assessment, organizational design, communication planning, and implementation.
HR Program Delivery & Operations
- Serve as a liaison to HR Centers of Excellence, including compensation, benefits, training, recognition, and staffing.
- Manage delivery of enterprise-wide HR programs such as merit review and bonus cycles.
- Participate in committees, meetings, and cross‑functional initiatives as requested.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices with a focus on healthcare industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive HR experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting organizational development initiatives within a large organization or complex business unit.
- Experience working with represented populations and multiple bargaining agreements.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations fundamentals, and core HR disciplines.
- Master’s degree.
- SPHR certification.
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational development, and change management skills.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels.
- Excellent critical thinking, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis, and reporting).
- Ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations.
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholder groups.
