Marketing Assistant

Granite City Electric Supply Co., Inc provides electrical supplies and services to contractors, residential, commercial, and industrial customers across the region.

Location:

Brockton, MA

Salary:
Approximately $55,000+ per year (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate communication with branches and internal departments for distribution of marketing and sales materials.
  • Monitor and assign incoming requests from the sales team.
  • Support team projects and initiatives.
  • Manage the Marketing Team’s event/promotion calendar.
  • Assist in communication & PR development and coordination.
  • Maintain shared marketing resources.
  • Track marketing performance metrics and report on campaign results.
  • Facilitate various sales, vendor and customer reports.
  • Utilize and manage outside resources (key vendors or agencies) as needed to accomplish program objectives.
  • Help plan and execute customer events, trade shows, and training sessions.
  • Organize and track promotional merchandise inventory.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
  • Complete all tasks within expected deadlines.

Additional Information

Position Type:
Hourly, full‑time.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; occasional evening work may be required.

Work Environment:
Clerical/distribution office setting; occasional on‑site/field work such as trade shows, training, and events.

Physical Demands:
Mostly stationary with occasional climbing of stairs and light lifting of boxes. Ability to sit for long periods and perform field work is required.

Travel:
Some regional travel up to 20%.

Preferred

Education & Experience:

Bachelor or associate degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; 1–3 years of marketing and sales support experience.
