32 Hours, Nights, Every Other Weekend, Benefit Eligible

The Critical Care RN assumes full responsibility for the quality of nursing care provided to patients and their families. Responsibilities include health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, and restoring optimal functioning. The role may also involve dignified end-of-life care. RNs may delegate activities to other healthcare personnel within their scope of practice. The Critical Care RN cares for patients across all age groups and with diverse needs, incorporating our commitment to patient rights, mission, vision, and values into practice.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
• Experience:
  
  3 years critical care experience or completion of GSMC transition to Critical Care course. Must maintain required competencies in a CCU setting.
• Certification/Licensure: MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, TCAR or TNCC
