Diesel Mechanic

First Student is hiring immediately for a Mechanic to work in our shop serving Southshore Charter Public School and Foxborough Regional Charter School. As a technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of the children who count on us for a ride to and from school in classic yellow buses.

• Perform maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drive trains, and transmissions
• Complete work orders and document all repairs
• Assist with mobile emergency services

• You have 5+ years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
• You have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (we’ll train you)
• You own a mechanic’s tool set
• You want to grow, learn, and develop your skillset through ASE testing

• $35.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications (NOT flat‑rate)
• ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained (we pay for the training materials and exams)
• Monday‑Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. full‑time shift
