Base pay range$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Position SummaryThe Accountant prepares journal entries and assists with financial analysis of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. This position is an individual contributor role that contributes to the operational excellence of the finance and accounting department. They will work within established guidelines and corporate policy. The role works on site at our Broken Arrow, Oklahoma location.

- Performs assigned month-end activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, and variance analysis.
- Assists with the coordination and preparation of the monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
- Provides support and backup for reconciliations on assigned balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Maintains accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.
- Serves as the primary AP backup including processing, vendor set‑ups and following company policy regarding set‑ups.
- Provides backup and support for Audit, conducts internal research, prepares worksheets and other relevant tasks when needed.
- Collaborates on special projects and other directives as assigned by management.
- Provide general accounting support as needed.
- Maintains compliance with all accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of GAAP through research and application, assisting to ensure compliance within our organization.
- Two years of accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Well organized, ability to prioritize and self‑motivated.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail and documentation of work.
- The ability to adapt to fast paced, rapid changes; ability to juggle multiple tasks and handle unexpected delays or events while maintaining constant attention to detail.
- Practice and promote teamwork and servant leadership within the organization.
- High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Previous Audit/Public Accounting experience preferred.
- CPA eligible.
