Northeastern State University’s College of Business and Technology invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management (F99493) at the Broken Arrow campus
, beginning August 2026 or sooner. The position carries a salary of $85,450. We welcome applications from candidates across all areas of management. Preference will be given to applicants with academic or professional experience in healthcare administration, project management, data analytics or technology fields such as machine learning, esports, or virtual reality.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management. While all areas of management will be considered, preference will be given to candidates with expertise or experience in healthcare management, project management, data analytics or technology applications such as machine learning, esports, or virtual reality.
- Sustain an active research agenda with outcomes appropriate for AACSB accreditation.
- Contribute to curriculum development, Assurance of Learning, and accreditation reporting (AACSB, HLC, OSRHE).
- Supervise student experiential learning projects, internships, and applied research activities.
- Support student advising, recruiting events, and community engagement initiatives on the Broken Arrow campus.
- Collaborate with regional industry partners to expand applied learning and internship pipelines.
- Use technology and LMS platforms to deliver high‑quality, student‑centered instruction.
- Doctorate in Management or closely related field from an AACSB‑accredited (or equivalent) institution (ABD considered if completed before start date).
- Evidence of university‑level teaching effectiveness.
- Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity.
- Ability to teach across multiple management subfields.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Completed doctorate by start date.
- Academic or professional experience in healthcare, project management, or technology‑related fields (e.g., machine learning, esports, virtual reality).
- Established or emerging research pipeline.
- Experience with Assurance of Learning and accreditation processes.
- Experience with experiential learning, industry partnerships, and applied projects.
- Teaching experience across modalities (in‑person, hybrid, online).
