Northeastern State University’s College of Business and Technology invites applications for a nine‑month, tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Marketing (F99467) at the Broken Arrow campus, beginning August 2026 or sooner
. The position carries a salary of $93,710
. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses, sustaining a scholarly research agenda, contributing to AACSB‑aligned accreditation and Assurance of Learning processes, and supporting service, recruitment, and community outreach.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate marketing courses (Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Promotion, Professional Selling, and electives)
  • Sustain an active research agenda with peer‑reviewed outcomes appropriate for AACSB accreditation
  • Contribute to curriculum development, Assurance of Learning, and accreditation reporting (AACSB, HLC, OSRHE)
  • Supervise experiential learning projects, internships, client‑based work, and student organizations such as AMA
  • Support student advising, recruiting events, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with regional industry partners to enhance applied learning opportunities
  • Use technology and LMS platforms to deliver high‑quality, student‑centered instruction
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Marketing or closely related field from an AACSB‑accredited (or equivalent) institution (ABD considered if completed before start date)
  • Evidence of university‑level teaching effectiveness
  • Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity
  • Ability to teach across multiple subfields of marketing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completed doctorate by start date
  • Professional or consulting experience in marketing, analytics, or digital strategy
  • Established or emerging research pipeline
  • Experience with Assurance of Learning and accreditation processes
  • Experience with experiential learning and industry partnerships
  • Teaching experience across modalities (in‑person, hybrid, online)
