Job Description: The Applications Engineer position will be based out of Zeeco’s BA office. The role requires knowledge of all Zeeco products, especially Flare Aftermarket Engineered Solutions products and their technical requirements. Responsibilities include managing proposals across all Zeeco disciplines to ensure comprehensive offerings with high potential for awards and contracts. This role focuses on the Flare Aftermarket Engineered Solutions business in China and requires fluency in Mandarin and English.

Job Duties:

• Analyze and interpret customer inquiries and specifications to design suitable equipment.
• Travel to customer sites for support and technical review.
• Assist with technical development and risk assessment of inquiries.
• Develop cost estimates and set product pricing.
• Determine necessary drawings and coordinate their completion.
• Create and issue formal quotations and follow up with customers.
• Negotiate proposals post-submission.
• Provide status reports to management.
• Assist with sales presentations and documentation using Microsoft Office, Adobe, and web systems.
• Work with management to identify skill and tool improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on skills and experience.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
• 2-5+ years of industry experience, preferably in sales or industry roles.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Motivated, versatile, and capable of working independently and in teams.
• Effective communication skills via phone, email, and face-to-face.
• Hands-on or field experience with combustion equipment is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
