A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Mechanical Engineer. Position Type:

Broken Arrow, OK As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Develops and applies engineering design methods, CAD tools, theories, and techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems.

• Remains abreast of the most modern engineering concepts through personal learning initiatives and continuing education programs while applying this knowledge to assigned tasks when appropriate.

• This position pertains primarily to the Mechanical Engineering segment of flight simulator design/development and is largely project oriented.

• Task assignments may transcend several projects/programs simultaneously.

• Develops mechanical designs for military training devices, including mechanisms and electro-mechanical devices

• Interpret customer design specifications and requirements

• Generates technical documentation describing designs, prefer experience with GD&T

• Support manufacturing processes and Quality inspection requirements;
Develops test plans and unit testing

• Teamwork, involving close association with peers, and management is essential to coordinating engineering activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• May perform other engineering and non-engineering duties as required by supervisor.

• Carry out significant and varied engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fields.
• Advise colleagues and other departments on technical issues & problems based on in-depth knowledge of the product.
• Participate in proposal activities by compiling cost estimates and reviewing project proposals.
• Ensure project expenditures are within budget and discuss critical project changes or modifications with management.
• Provide mentoring and/or training to junior mechanical engineers and designers. An Ideal candidate will have
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related degree.

• At least 5 years’ mechanical engineering experience or experience in related industry.

• Solid Works, Creo, or other similar design software, utilizing Model Based Definition

• Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Mechanical Engineering

• Detail oriented.

Pay Range*: $60-$62 per hour.
