• Examine every client’s financial records, such as their income statements and previous tax returns, to calculate their total amount of taxable income
• Use all eligible tax benefits for the client
• Communicate with tax authorities and submit the final tax return on the client’s behalf
• Provide guidance for future taxes and help them make a plan for the upcoming year to save as much money as possible
• Inform customers about the process for submitting their income tax returns and be clear about the deadlines to ensure clients' taxes are filed on time
• Serve as a liaison between tax authorities and the client, submitting the final tax forms on their behalf
• Handle tax filing in an organized, secure manner to ensure each client's privacy is protected

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Has a valid PTIN from the Internal Revenue Service
• 5+ years of work experience in tax consulting at an accounting firm or consulting firm
• Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Must have a college degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
