Job Purpose:
Restores patient function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.

• Know regulatory standards and compliance requirements
• Identify and implement components of the physical therapy process
• Identify learning needs and educate patients and families
• Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals
• Apply professional standards of practice in job situations
• Demonstrate strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Utilize personal computer and software applications used in job functions
• Adhere to additional qualifications/skills as outlined in the full job description
• Hold an Associate degree in physical therapy as evidenced by a college diploma
• Maintain a current, unencumbered, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Oklahoma

• Associates degree in physical therapy
• Current, unencumbered Oklahoma PTA license
