Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged skill or ability that has not yet deteriorated to maximize function in activities of daily living (ADL), leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Implements interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross

Desired

Qualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
