Bio Life Plasma Services is looking for a dedicated Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support our plasma center operations in Broken Arrow, OK. The role requires a commitment to customer service, quality, and compliance with industry regulations.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and, under guidance from the Center Physician, perform responsibilities such as determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable results. The role also involves supporting quality and safety initiatives, including environmental, health and safety (EHS) guidance.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including coordinating care with the Center Physician and arranging transport to emergency facilities.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues concerning donor safety and eligibility.
• Support employee vaccination programs for Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu.
• Manage employee incidents and, when warranted, refer to occupational health or EHS for further evaluation.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist with investigations of pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate-level completion of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Current state license or certification as an EMT-Paramedic within the state of assignment.
• Valid CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Completion of FDA-approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Hourly wage range: $23.85 – $32.79 (actual offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location).
