Manufacturing HR Manager
We are seeking a plant-level HR leader with a strong manufacturing background to own and drive people operations at our Tulsa facility. This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for an HR Manager who has experience supporting hourly work forces, navigating safety and compliance requirements, and partnering closely with plant leadership to build a stable, engaged workforce.
You will lead an established HR team of five and act as the primary HR partner to operations, safety, and leadership, balancing day‑to‑day employee relations with longer‑term talent and culture initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Leadership & Plant Partnership
- Lead, coach, and develop an on‑site HR team of five, setting clear expectations and accountability
- Serve as the primary HR partner to Plant Manager and leadership team
- Provide day‑to‑day HR leadership in a fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive manufacturing environment
Employee Relations & Culture
- Own employee relations across hourly and salaried populations, including investigations, performance management, and corrective action
- Actively engage with employees on the production floor; maintain visible HR presence
- Build and sustain a positive, inclusive, and respectful employee culture
Compliance, Safety & Policies
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, etc.)
- Maintain, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and handbooks
- Partner closely with EHS and Operations to support safety initiatives and reinforce compliance
Talent & Workforce Management
- Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning efforts
- Lead engagement initiatives, training programs, and leadership development activities
- Support succession planning and development of high‑potential employees
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- 5+ years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting hourly work forces and plant operations
- Proven success leading and developing HR teams
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and safety expectations
- Comfortable handling complex and sensitive employee relations issues
- Ability to influence leaders, coach supervisors, and build trust across all levels
- Hands‑on, visible HR leader who thrives on the production floor—not behind a desk
