Job Title:
Automated Inspection Machine Operator
Job Summary:
The Automated Inspection Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently and effectively running automated inspection equipment used in high-volume production. The operator will inspect and sort rubber parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:Set up and operate automated inspection machines.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain a thorough understanding of machine functions and operations.
Perform machine recovery using the troubleshooting guide.
Manage in-process operations, including machine refills and stopping equipment to address alarms.
Visually inspect partsfor compliance with specifications.
Communicate clearly with supervisors or technicians regarding any operational issues.
Read and understand English instructions and apply basic math skills.
Perform routine cleaning and visual inspections of machines as outlined in procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Accurately document daily activities and production data.
Follow specific work instructions related to production tasks.
Understand basic customer requirements and interpret production drawings.
Other Functions and Responsibilities:Communicate effectively with other departments and team members.
Apply logical reasoning to troubleshoot and identify alternative solutions.
Work overtime as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:Occasionally: Walking, data entry, using a ten-key pad.
Frequently: Sitting.
Constantly: Reaching, grabbing, touching.
Other Requirements:
Visual acuity for near and medium distances; ability to distinguish colors.
Adequate hearing ability for a manufacturing environment.
