Job Overview: Operates multiple production machines such as saws, presses, drills, and other hand and/or powered equipment, as well as automatic presses. May require raw material to be loaded onto stock reels.

• Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
• Inspect parts to specifications; adjust or perform tool changes as necessary to maintain quality.
• Set up and operate production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and timely.
• Make suggestions to supervisors for improvements associated with assigned work.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area per Hubbell’s 6S policy.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from lead person and production supervisors.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect own work for conformity to standards.
• Assist in other areas as necessary.

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Two (2) years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices.
• Positive attitude toward work, striving for maximum production and quality.
• Self‑motivated initiative to improve quantity, quality, and efficiency with co‑workers.
