The Rubber Deflash Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining deflashing equipment used to remove excess rubber, flash, or burrs from molded rubber parts. This position ensures all finished products meet quality, dimensional, and visual specifications while maintaining safe and efficient production processes.

• Operate rubber deflashing machines (e.g., cryogenic, tumble, or manual deflashing equipment) according to established procedures.
• Load and unload rubber parts into the deflash machine and ensure proper cycle settings are used for each product type.
• Inspect parts before and after deflashing for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Perform basic machine adjustments, cleaning, and maintenance as required to ensure continuous operation.
• Record production data, including part counts, batch numbers, and process parameters.
• Identify defective or nonconforming parts and report issues to quality control or supervision.
• Handle and dispose of deflashing media (such as nitrogen pellets or abrasive materials) in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S and safety guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process efficiency and product quality.
• Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in rubber molding or plastics processing.
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production instructions, and safety procedures.
