Production Manager, Operations Manager
Overview
CSI Aerospace Inc, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NYSE: HEI) is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising Team Members, meeting production schedules and maintaining quality for the assigned areas per CSI requirements. 2nd Shift Schedule is 5:00 pm - 3:30 am.
Responsibilities- Identify, develop and implement weekly forecasts to meet production, quality and safety objectives.
- Coordinate cross functionally with site departments to bridge communication between upper management and their team, relay important information, communicating policy or procedural changes.
- Monitor and adjust workflow schedule to respond to internal production requirements including on-time delivery, cost of poor quality and process improvements. Balance workloads while addressing changes or requests from team members.
- Enforce company policies of conduct and safety while initiating disciplinary action when necessary.
- Manage the overall talent management of the production team including interviewing, hiring, staffing levels, ongoing training, planning, assigning work, directing daily priorities, appraising performance, setting goals, and addressing complaints.
- Manage team attendance and performance issues through problem identification and dispute mediation.
- Perform continuous process improvement activities aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality and costs with measurable results.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Associates degree in Business or equivalent experience.
Work Experience- At least 2 years previous supervisory experience with direct reports in a production environment.
- Experience working in a general operational facility with basic working knowledge of soldering, blending, machining and assembly of detailed electrical components.
- Familiar with FAA regulations that relate to a Part 145 Repair Station (preferred).
- Strong time management skills with ability to multitask.
- Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization. - Computer

The associate may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
