In this role you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing team and the supervisor by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and identifying engineering problems. This position is also responsible for promoting and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, 5S, and helping the supervisor address any questions or concerns coming from the team related to these guidelines. The foreman will not be responsible for the administrative tasks for the team.

• Provide technical support to the team and supervisor, assisting with troubleshooting and identifying engineering problems.
• Identify and help resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
• Advance safety guidelines, ensuring all team members are aware of and enforce safety protocols and help address any questions and concerns to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Help coordinate the performance of team members, providing mentorship and technical support/knowledge as needed.
• Help conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment/machinery are in good working condition.
• Assist in training new employees.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience; technical degree/certification or experience preferred.
• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and identify engineering problems and read/understand drawings/blueprints.
• Excellent understanding of safety guidelines and protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as the need arises.

• The pay range for this position is $24-$28 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

Hourly rate: $24–$28 per hour.
