Shop Foreman - Manufacturing Execution
Join to apply for the Shop Foreman - Manufacturing Execution role at RISE Armament.
The MissionYour job is simple to understand and difficult to execute:
Every work order ships on time. Period. On‑time delivery is the measure of success in this role, but no order is considered “on time” if it doesn’t meet quality requirements. Speed that creates rework, scrap, or escapes is failure. Everything else—process enforcement, ERP accuracy, floor discipline—exists only to support that outcome.
- Thinks in right vs. wrong, not gray areas
- Believes standards exist to be enforced, not debated
- Is comfortable being the authority on the floor
- Takes personal ownership of work order flow
- Feels professional pride when the system matches reality
You are at your best when:
- Expectations are clear
- Authority is defined
- Accountability is non‑negotiable
- Own daily work order execution across the shop floor
- Ensure every job moves on time through every operation
- Enforce strict compliance with travelers, routings, and SOPs
- Maintain real‑time accuracy in Pro Shop ERP
- Correct deviations immediately—no exceptions, no negotiations
- Identify at‑risk work orders early and act decisively
- Manufacturing experience in a production environment
- Hands‑on experience moving work orders in an ERP system (Pro Shop a bonus)
- Comfort enforcing rules and correcting behavior in real time
- Strong discipline, follow‑through, and attention to detail
A zero‑tolerance mindset for missed due dates
- CNC machining experience
- Experience acting as a single point of execution authority
- Familiarity with Pro Shop ERP and the EPIC (Expert Person In Charge) concept
- Believe rules should bend when things get busy
- Prefer consensus over authority
- Avoid conflict in the name of morale
- “Make it work” instead of following the process
- Work orders ship on time
- Late jobs are rare and visible early
- The floor runs with urgency and predictability
- Pro Shop reflects reality without exception
- Operators know exactly what is expected—and when
RISE Armament builds precision firearms components for customers who demand reliability. That same expectation applies to our manufacturing operations.
We value:
- Discipline over chaos
- Accountability over excuses
- Execution over intention
We will give you:
- Clear authority
- Clear expectations
- Leadership support for enforcing standards
- 401(k)
- Health insurance
- Dental insurance
- Vision insurance
- Life insurance
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Employee discount
- Referral program
If being liked matters more than being effective, this role is not for you. If you take pride in order, discipline, and delivering exactly what was promised—on time—this may be the most satisfying role you’ve ever had.
