Associate Kids Minister

Your Day-to-Day- Recruit, develop, and empower dream teamers so they are operating in their strengths and accomplishing the mission of Battle Creek Kids.
- Ensure dream teamers and rooms are set up and ready to serve so the overall operation of the weekend is meeting expectation.
- Build strong relationships with dream teamers by connecting weekly via phone call or in-person.
- Oversee dream team orientation and training that includes appropriate placement of volunteers.
- Communicate daily with the Kids Minister to help reach all listed ministry specific and campus goals.
- Lead day-to-day operations of the kids ministry while balancing tasks and relational aspects of the role.
- Perform other church duties as assigned by the Kids Minister to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ.
- At least 1 years’ experience gained through increasing positions within discipline, preferred.
- Models the standards and expectations of a covenant member at Battle Creek Church including: profession of Jesus Christ, Baptism by immersion, commitment to personal spiritual growth, membership and worship at Battle Creek Church, community group participation, a lifestyle of tithing and generosity, and serving out of a call and giftedness.
- Enjoy building relationships with parents, dream teamers, and kids.
- Have strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Take ownership of your own development while also developing a team.
- Communicate and listen well.
- Enjoy working in a multi-site environment.
Depending on the role, you might find yourself in an office, on stage, out in the community, or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may be required—it’s all part of ministry life! This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity, including standing, lifting (up to 20 pounds), kneeling, setting up equipment, or prepping for events—sometimes even late ’t worry;
we’ll ensure you know what to expect!
