Server Assistant - Broken Arrow

Ted's Cafe Escondido - Broken Arrow, 501 West Albany Drive, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.

Salary: $10-13/hr.

As a server assistant you will be the backbone of the dining room service staff. Your duties will include set-ups, as well as refills for tea and water, and bussing tables. Speed, efficiency, and organization are the three basic requirements to perform these tasks to TCE’s standards. An SA’s work is never completely done, so if you think everything is caught up look again.

TCE combines the highest level of service with a relaxed and friendly style. You are responsible for every table in the restaurant.

• To ensure that Ted’s standard of service is given to every guest, every time.
• Anticipate the guests needs.
• Be punctual and in full uniform for each shift.
• Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures of Ted’s Café Escondido Restaurants.
• 45 seconds for initial cheese sauce, salsa, and chips.
• Prep of tortilla balls.
• Ensure that all health and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times.
• Have a positive attitude at all times.
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
• Perform all float responsibilities if working that position.
• Bus all tables quickly and efficiently.
• Refill all water and tea at the tables before letting them fall below half.

• Ensure 100% guest satisfaction and return.
• Display professional conduct at all times.
• Accept personal accountability for all actions.
• Be punctual for every shift.
• Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures of Ted’s Café Escondido Restaurants.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for your department.
• Treat all staff members and guests with respect.
• Contribute to a positive working environment.
• Maintain confidentiality with all company information.
• Ensure that you are knowledgeable of your specific responsibilities in the event of an emergency.

• Subject to potentially upset guests and staff.
• Involved with guests and staff under all conditions and circumstances.
• Varied working hours may include weekends, holidays, late evenings, and early mornings as needed.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk 8+ hours daily.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally, and more than 50 lbs. rarely.
• Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, and climbing.
• Occasional squatting, kneeling, crawling, and fine manipulation.

• Previous bussing experience in a high volume restaurant is preferred.

• Must posses interpersonal relations skills.
• Professional in attitude, demeanor, and dress.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
