OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced lot porter to join our Ferguson Family. In this role, you will be asked to move and park vehicles on our lot. Your duties will include keeping track of customer vehicles as well as keeping the lot neat and presentable. To ensure success as a porter, you should exhibit safe driving skills and have experience working with customers at a car dealership.
Ultimately, a top-notch porter is someone who can be entrusted with our customers valuable property.
- Moving vehicles from lot, storage facility, workshop or pick up point
- Driving & handling all vehicles responsibly to ensure damage prevention, to customer as well as dealership property.
- Responsible for all vehicles on lot
- Keep lot neat and presentable at all times.
- Driving off lot at times for dealership needs and purposes
- Flexibility with schedule
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
