DescriptionThe Club at Forest Ridge is looking for a Part‑time Racquet Sports Front Desk Attendant. Whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time or training for tournament play, The Club at Forest Ridge offers one of the most comprehensive racquet sports programs in the region. GeneralPurpose
Offer superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management in merchandising, inventory control, reservations, and special events preparation.
Essential Duties- Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop or store.
- Account for POS transactions.
- Collect applicable fees from members/guests and outside patrons.
- Make court, clinic, lesson, and special event reservations, in person or by phone.
- Assist guests by selling merchandise and providing information professionally.
- Assist with rotating stock and maintaining clean, orderly displays.
- Assist with general cleaning of the shop or store.
- Assist shop supervisor with creating appealing displays.
- Assist with monthly physical inventories.
- Work with coaches to facilitate orderly start and play times.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
- Frequently stand and use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
- Regularly walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, or crouch.
- Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate noise level.
- None required.
- Ability to read and speak English; communication with English‑speaking customers or co‑workers.
- Active tennis player with knowledge of the game.
- Retail sales experience is preferred.
- Computer proficiency including POS, Microsoft Office, social media, and tennis‑related programs.
