As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company while you process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change; provide information and resolve complaints; follow all front‑end procedures; assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed;

maintain knowledge of weekly ad items; give customers product location directions; and maintain open communication with front‑end manager and Head Cashier. A Cashier is expected to keep checkout areas clean and orderly and execute all related duties as assigned.

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 1‑2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Show an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers.
• Be able to operate front‑end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Be dependable and reliable, able to work a flexible schedule that may change as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have good communication skills; accept direction and constructive criticism and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Lift/carry product horizontally or vertically weighing up to 30 lbs., from 24” to 36”, for a distance up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs., for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours.
• Have strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers; be proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills; able to read, write, and count.
