Position Overview

We’re hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Valve Technician to support industrial and commercial valve repair operations in Broken Arrow, OK. As a Valve Technician, you’ll install, maintain, repair, and test a variety of valve types to ensure safe, efficient system performance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Installation & Maintenance
  • Install, repair, and maintain ball, gate, globe, check, and pressure relief valves
  • Perform inspections and diagnostics to ensure proper valve performance
  • Troubleshoot valve malfunctions and complete required repairs or replacements
Testing & Calibration
  • Conduct operational tests to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Calibrate valves to meet system specifications
  • Verify performance under pressure and flow conditions
Documentation
  • Accurately record all maintenance, repair, and calibration activities
  • Maintain logs for inspections, testing, and modifications
Safety Compliance
  • Follow all company and regulatory safety protocols
  • Ensure valve systems meet local, state, and federal regulations
  • Perform safety checks and risk assessments
Troubleshooting & Problem‑Solving
  • Respond to emergency service calls
  • Diagnose performance issues and implement timely solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical staff on complex issues
Collaboration & Customer Service
  • Work with project managers, engineers, and technicians
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance as needed
  • Interact with clients professionally and resolve valve‑related concerns
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus)
  • Proven experience as a Valve Technician or similar mechanical role
  • Strong understanding of manual, automatic, pneumatic, and hydraulic valve systems
  • Knowledge of safety standards and valve regulations
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
  • Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift heavy equipment
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Able to work in industrial and outdoor environments
