Temporary, with potential for ongoing work We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join an established construction company on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous Accounts Payable experience who is looking to join a busy finance team and secure the potential for ongoing work. Working as part of the accounts team, you will support the day-to-day financial administration of the business, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable .

Key responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation Checking and resolving invoice discrepancies Preparing and processing supplier payments Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations Responding to supplier queries Maintaining accurate financial records Supporting the wider accounts team with general finance administration Ensuring invoices and payments are processed within agreed timescales The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role Good understanding of the purchase ledger/accounts payable process Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel

Experience with in the construction sector would be advantageous but is not essential A proactive and reliable approach to work What's on Offer?
