Workshop Controller – Beckenham

We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller, Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Coordinator or Aftersales Controller to join a busy independent garage in Beckenham. Applicants must have strong automotive aftersales experience, be confident allocating work to Technicians, managing parts and quotations, handling customers and supporting the day-to-day workshop operation. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Annual performance-related bonus

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, usually finishing around 5:30pm depending on workload. 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am–12:30pm

Workshop Controller Role
Allocate work effectively across the Technician team
Support the day-to-day coordination of workshop activity
Order parts required for servicing and repair work
Prepare quotations and communicate costs to customers
Handle incoming customer calls and service enquiries
Provide additional support on service reception when required
Take on further workshop and aftersales responsibilities as the role develops

Workshop Controller Requirements
Previous Workshop Controller, Senior Service Advisor or strong automotive aftersales experience
Experience coordinating Technician workloads within a garage or workshop
Confident dealing with a high volume of customer enquiries
Strong knowledge of quotations and parts ordering
Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise workshop requirements
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working within a busy independent garage environment
Full UK Driving Licence – essential
Right to work in the UK
