Construction Planner required for a major data centre project
An established and growing main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Planner to join its team on a large-scale data centre construction project near Hayes, West London.

If you're an experienced Project Planner, Planning Engineer or Construction Planner with a background in major construction projects, we'd like to hear from you.
The RoleReporting to the Project Director and senior project team, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing construction programmes throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with project managers, engineers and site teams, you'll ensure programmes remain accurate, achievable and aligned with project delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6, MS Project or ASTA Power project
- Produce baseline programmes and live construction schedules
- Monitor site progress and update programmes accordingly
- Analyse critical path, float, delays and programme risks
- Produce look-ahead programmes, progress reports and planning updates
- Support project teams with programme recovery plans and "what-if" scenario analysis
- Manage programme baselining, change control and schedule integrity
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and commercial teams to support successful project delivery
- Provide planning support during tender and pre-construction phases, including logistics and sequencing
- Assist with delay analysis, extensions of time and programme records where required
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and reporting standards
You'll initially be based on a major hyperscale data centre development near Hayes.

What We're Looking For Essential Experience- Previous experience as a Construction Planner, Project Planner or Planning Engineer
- Strong background in construction planning or project controls
- Experience developing and maintaining project programmes across design, construction and commissioning
- Excellent working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or ASTA Power project
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery methodologies
- Experience working under NEC3, NEC4 and/or FIDIC contracts
- Excellent communication, analytical and reporting skills
- Competent using Microsoft Office and document management platforms such as Share Point
- Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls or a related discipline
- Commitment to continuous professional development
