Reception Teacher - January 2026 Start — South London — 180‑230 per day Full‑Time Long‑Term

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school from January 2026. You will take on full classroom teacher responsibilities, delivering high‑quality teaching and learning in line with EYFS expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact during the crucial early stages of a child’s education - fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

• Plan, deliver and assess inspiring lessons aligned with the EYFS framework
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Track pupil progress through observations, assessment and accurate record‑keeping
• Build supportive relationships with pupils and parents to promote wellbeing and development
• Work collaboratively with the wider Early Years team to ensure consistency
• Take part in school duties, meetings and ongoing professional development

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
• Strong knowledge of EYFS pedagogy and child development
• Confident delivering full teacher responsibilities including planning, marking and assessment
• A nurturing and proactive approach, with strong behaviour management skills
• Able to inspire young learners through creative, play‑based learning

• Competitive day rate:
  180‑230 depending on experience
• Supportive leadership and well‑resourced Early Years department
• Long‑term role with the potential to become permanent
