Up to £48,000.00 per annum depending on experience (Not pro rata)

Hours:

37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm

About the role As a dynamic and motivated qualified teacher, you’ll work with pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs—supporting them to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that spark curiosity and excitement, adapting learning to suit each individual.

What You’ll Be Doing Plan and deliver stimulating, personalised lessons on a daily basis Develop creative and innovative teaching approaches that engage and motivate learners Respond flexibly to the needs of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs Observe, monitor, and assess pupil progress and wellbeing Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals Contribute to the wider life, vision, and development of the school Who we are looking for A passionate, enthusiastic SEN Teacher with a genuine desire to make a difference A confident communicator who builds strong, caring relationships with pupils Someone who thrives in a supportive, specialist school environment A team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and other professionals An educator who values creativity, flexibility, and pupil-centred learning Essential Requirement: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent About Us Woodside Park School is a brand-new Options Autism school, located in Penge, South East London.

We provide specialist education for up to 36 pupils aged 7–11. Pupils are taught in small class sizes, allowing for personalised learning, and work towards a variety of qualifications tailored to their individual needs and abilities. Our dedicated team creates a nurturing and inclusive environment, where every child is supported to reach their full potential both academically and personally. For over 19 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
