About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in the Bromley region. This is a full-time position for an experienced practitioner or an ambitious teacher with a strong interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs, and moderate learning difficulties. You will play a vital role in delivering tailored, high-quality education that enables every child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP targets

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records

  • Develop personalised learning strategies to support academic and social development

  • Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience working within a SEND setting or with pupils with additional needs

  • Strong understanding of EHCP processes and inclusive teaching strategies

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Patience, resilience, and a child-centred approach

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
