The Role – Behaviour Mentor
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils in KS1 and KS2 who may present behavioural challenges.
Your role will involve providing 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils manage their emotions and develop positive behaviour strategies. The ideal candidate will encourage engagement in learning, build trusting relationships with pupils and assist them in developing confidence and social skills. The successful candidate will be calm, supportive and proactive, with a good understanding of behaviour management strategies. Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour is preferred.
The School – Behaviour Mentor
This welcoming primary school is based in the borough of Bromley and is only a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station. The school caters for boys and girls aged 3–11 and is committed to creating a safe and encouraging environment where pupils can flourish academically and socially. Staff work closely together to provide strong pastoral care and tailored support for pupils, ensuring everyone feels supported and valued.
This school supports pupils with SEN, including SLCN and ADHD. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
