ASAPThe focus of this role is to re‑engage young people with learning, build emotional resilience, and develop essential functional and life skills in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver bespoke intervention sessions that support emotional wellbeing, resilience, and re‑engagement
Build a consistent, trusting relationship with the young person
Implement self‑regulation strategies and promote positive behaviour and confidence
Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure cohesive support
Track and report progress in both emotional development and engagement Requirements

Experience with SEMH or similar behavioural/emotional needs
Ability to build rapport quickly and create a safe learning space
Calm, nurturing, patient approach to managing behaviour and emotional dysregulation
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

Desirable Experience

Youth work or PRU background
Training in de‑escalation (Team Teach, MAPA, etc.)
Knowledge of restorative practice and trauma‑informed approaches
