An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Paraplanner to join a well-established and growing wealth management firm based in Bromley.
This highly regarded financial planning practice has built a strong reputation for delivering quality advice and outstanding client service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Paraplanner who is looking to develop their technical expertise, progress their qualifications and build a long-term career within financial planning.
Working alongside experienced Financial Advisers and a Senior Paraplanner, you will receive ongoing support and mentoring while continuing your professional development towards Diploma status and beyond.
The Opportunity
This role offers broad exposure to the financial planning process and provides an excellent platform for someone looking to advance their paraplanning career within a supportive and professional environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters to agreed deadlines
• Conducting technical and comparative research across pensions, investments and protection solutions
• Supporting Advisers with ensuring advice remains compliant and suitable for client objectives
• Reviewing client fact-finds and analysing clients' overall financial positions
• Assisting with annual reviews and ongoing servicing requirements
• Liaising with administration teams regarding the implementation of new business
• Investigating and responding to client and adviser queries
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning advice
Requirements
• Minimum 12 months' experience within a Paraplanning role
• Working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or already qualified
• Good understanding of pensions, investments and wider financial planning products
• Strong analytical and technical research skills
• Ability to produce clear, accurate and well-structured suitability reports
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A genuine desire to build a long-term career within financial planning
