Responsibilities:

Transaction Reporting is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the Bank’s transaction reporting obligations across multiple global regulatory jurisdictions.

This role sits within the Remediation team, whose purpose is to drive improvements in Transaction Reporting through remediation assessment, root cause oversight, management information, process optimisation and effective governance.

A key focus of your role is assessing multi-layered, aged and blocked reporting breaches to establish whether viable remediation options remain available. The role provides independent task to ensure all reasonable remediation avenues have been explored before closure is considered. It also supports the team’s broader targets through the production of management information, root cause analysis, procedural and training documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What

we are looking for:
  • Understanding of the regulatory trade and transaction reporting landscape would be ideal
  • Familiar with key regulations: EMIR, MIFID, SFTR, CFTC and others.
  • Prepared to remain current on the regulatory reporting landscape to ensure the firm’s reporting remains in step with any changes
  • Industry

    Experience:
  • Experience in remediating transaction reporting issues, including back-reporting
  • Familiar with key trade flow components: how trades are booked, cleared, captured, consumed by the reporting systems, processed, submitted to the regulatory / repository)
  • Experience in key transaction reporting systems and how they interact with each other
  • Business Analysis / Project Management
  • Project experience: business analysis, project management, data analysis, and testing skills are required for this role.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience of working in Banking MO, Operations, or other relevant functions would be
  • Product specific knowledge inside / outside of transaction reporting operations.
