Domiciliary Care Assistant

Role

You would be working in our clients' homes to help them make the most of their lives and encourage their independence, from providing care to supporting them in other areas of their daily lives.

Remuneration

£13.71 per hour plus overtime rates, bonuses and mileage (you will need to have your own car)

As an employee-owner, you would share in the 20% of dividends given to staff.

Hours

Hours by agreement.

Required Experience

You do not need personal care experience as full training will be provided.

Required Certification

Unless you have one already, you will need to undertake the Care Certificate and will have to complete monthly paid training.

Required Skills

All your required skills will be the vocational ones you have or will achieve as part of building your care experience, but we will help you to hone them. Preferably you will need to be a car driver.

Personality Traits

We want to help make our client's homes a calm and fun place for them, so if you are calm and fun too that is a great start. You also need to be able to work alone and be a team player, punctual, scrupulously honest and be someone who takes pride in their appearance and doing a great job.

Demands

Care can be physically and emotionally demanding, but with clients and families who really appreciate what you do, it is also very rewarding.
