Kia Product Genius Needed We are looking to recruit a full-time Kia Product Genius to join our team at JCB Kia Bromley.

Overall Purpose of Job:

With your passion for new products, technology and customer service you will play a key role within a Kia Dealership, becoming recognised as an expert. You will enhance the customer experience by sharing your knowledge of Kia products and technology and, through effective consultation with our customers, be able to help them select the Kia vehicle that meets their needs in a non-pressurised environment.

You will work effectively with the rest of the Dealership Team, bringing skills and knowledge that will inspire customers, build commitment and loyalty and ultimately increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide an engaging, warm first point of contact for customers, whether that’s in the showroom or when responding to digital enquiries.
· Be eager to learn and to share your knowledge with customers, using available resources and your own initiative to grow an understanding of Kia products and technologies as well as developments across the automotive industry.
· Demonstrate an enthusiastic approach when talking about the product line-up, accessories and services with a customer
· Listen to customers to understand their needs, questions and aspirations, creating a non-pressurised, non-threatening sales environment
· Promote the Kia brand, products and technologies, sharing information, features and benefits in a friendly, understandable way
· Support off-site events, acting as an ambassador for your Dealership and for the Kia Brand
· Work with others within the Dealership Team to build effective relationships, and specifically transferring customers to and from Sales Executives to complete other elements of the buying process (especially negotiation and finance)
· Complete product presentations, test-drives and vehicle handovers, enhancing the customer experience at every point of contact.
· Advise customers on EV ownership including EV grants, charging options and regenerative braking.
· Recognise and deal with any customer queries, issues or expressions of dissatisfaction in a positive and professional way
· Make confident and well thought out suggestions on how the Dealership can provide an even better customer experience
· Showroom presentation, including vehicles on display and point of sale materials.
· Ensure that demonstrators are clean, fuelled and available.
· Conduct new vehicle handovers or pre-handovers at a time that suits the customer, helping them to better understand their new car and latest technologies.
· Present new products and technology to the rest of the Sales Team.
· Support your knowledge and development through ongoing online training via Kia Academy.

Person Specification:

· Confident, dynamic and engaging (ability to become an ambassador for the Dealership and the Kia Brand)
· First class communication skills, in particular the ability to explain complex subjects in a simple, relevant way
· Excellent customer service skills
· Experience working in a team
· Achieved a minimum GCSE in English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
· Passion for technology, with an interest in gadgets, IT and a good understanding of websites, smart phones and Microsoft Office
