We are currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join Bromley Council on a full-time locum basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, busy, and supportive Children Looked After (CLA) Team, where you'll work alongside experienced colleagues and managers who are committed to providing excellent support. The team is keen to appoint the right candidate as soon as possible.

About the Role

As a Children's Social Worker within the CLA Team, you will:

* Manage a varied caseload of looked after children.

* Build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.

* Complete assessments, care planning, and statutory visits.

* Develop and review care plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.

* Work closely with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

* Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings, reviews, and planning meetings.

* Ensure all practice is in line with current legislation, statutory guidance, and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

* Experience working within Children's Services, particularly Children Looked After.

* Strong assessment, care planning, and safeguarding skills.

* Excellent communication and partnership working abilities.

* Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
