In this engaging role, you’ll work within the criminal justice system to support young individuals in developing resilience, reducing risks, and making informed choices.

- Deliver one-to-one and group-based interventions to young people, focusing on resilience, risk awareness, and harm reduction.
- Undertake holistic assessments and develop person-centred support plans in line with identified needs and service pathways.
- Work in partnership with schools, youth services, social care, and health professionals within a multi-agency framework.
- Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with the Children Act 1989/2004 and local safeguarding partnership procedures.
- Maintain accurate case records, risk assessments, and outcome measures in accordance with organisational and GDPR requirements.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, Youth Work or related field
- Relevant safeguarding training (desirable)
- Knowledge of Children Act 1989/2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children
- Understanding of Equality Act 2010 and safeguarding frameworks
- Enhanced DBS check required
- Experience working with vulnerable or at-risk young people, ideally within substance misuse, youth justice, or early help services
- Experience of delivering group sessions and outreach-based support
- Demonstrable understanding of issues affecting young people, including mental health, exploitation, and substance use
