** NDHLh##### Description Are you a caring and dedicated Children's Support Worker looking for flexible and rewarding work?

Nursing Direct is recruiting compassionate
** Band 2 and Band 4 Carers / Children's Support Workers (CSWs)
** to support children and young people in Bromley and the surrounding areas.

This role focuses on providing high-quality
** children's support, respite care, family support, and community-based support**, helping children and young people achieve positive outcomes while promoting independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion.

Working within family homes and local communities, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each child's individual needs while offering valuable assistance and respite to parents and carers.#####

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, person-centred support to children and young people
* Deliver respite support to families and carers
* Support children to access community activities, social opportunities, and local services
* Assist with daily routines and encourage independence and confidence
* Promote emotional wellbeing, inclusion, and positive social development
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
* Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
* Maintain accurate records and report concerns appropriately
* Support children to engage in educational, recreational, and community-based activities
* Work flexibly across home and community settings##### Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Carer, Support Worker, Children's Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant
* Experience supporting children, young people, or individuals with additional support needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Caring, patient, and reliable approach
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Commitment to delivering high-quality support to children and families#####

Desirable Experience
* Supporting children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or additional needs
* Children's respite care experience
* Family support experience
* Community-based support work
* Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) knowledge
