Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Helicopter Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of helicopter ground operations. This is a key operational role, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient day-to-day operations, leading a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional service to clients while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and handling all operational enquiries.

• Coordinate and manage helicopter flight bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and utilisation.

• Oversee daily ground operations, including aircraft handling, logistics, and coordination with flight crews.

• Lead, manage, and develop the ground operations team, including training, performance management, and day-to-day supervision.

• Coordinate charter helicopter operations, liaising with clients, pilots, and internal teams to deliver a seamless service.

• Ensure all operations comply with aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to maintain service quality and client satisfaction.

• Act as a key liaison between clients, flight crews, and operational staff to ensure smooth operational delivery.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in helicopter or aviation operations, or a similar role within the aviation industry.

• Strong understanding of aviation regulatory requirements and operational compliance.

• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in flight booking systems and operational planning tools.

• Based within commuting distance of Biggin Hill or willing to relocate
