An established professional services business based in Bromsgrove is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their busy Admin team. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a professional environment, managing detail, and keeping operations running smoothly.
The Role You will play a key part in supporting the wider team, managing client administration, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing new client forms
- Onboarding new clients and liaising with Client Managers to ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Maintaining client records and filing documentation in individual client files
- Inbox and diary management
- Billing administration and assisting with credit control
- Managing office supplies and inventory, including ordering and receiving
- Maintaining the office filing system, including scanning, filing and organising documents daily
- Managing incoming mail and packages, including distribution across departments
- Typing letters, reports and professional documents
- Assisting with filing statutory documents with Companies House and HMRC
- Providing general administrative support to the team
- Meeting, greeting and liaising with clients
- Managing client records on the firm s database software
- Supporting ad hoc administrative tasks as required
- Minimum of 2 years experience within an accountancy practice or professional services environment
- Experience using IRIS, Xero or similar accountancy software (beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information
