Private Wealth Administrator
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basisand in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus a range of benefits and hybrid working.
As a Private Wealth Administrator, you will be an integral part of the AFH Private Wealth team and will be responsible for all administrative duties as well as supporting and helping your colleagues to create and develop efficiencies across the business using all tools at your disposal, including XPlan and Nexus. You will be expected to manage your own workload, speaking to fellow staff members as well as directly with clients and other Wealth Managers (predominantly Pershing).
As a Private Wealth Administrator, you will be:
- Processing new business and ongoing account management
- Working alongside the Private Wealth Operations Manager, Client Executives, and other Administrators to ensure that all workload is prioritised and dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
- A point of contact for clients, providers, and other members of the business
- Processing the completion of transfers in and out
- Loading and managing ongoing and initial fees on multiple platforms internally and externally
- Ensuring stock research is up to date
- Creating and managing cash lists
- Processing deceased cases i.e. probate and small estates
- Dealing with the sale and transfers of shares
- Conforming to timelines, demands, and shifting priorities through problem solving
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders by telephone, letter, and e-mail
- Managing the AFH Private Wealth direct phoneline with a confident telephone manner
- Any other reasonable request made by the business.
- Strong numeracy, literacy and attention to detail
- Good Microsft packagesskills, specifically Excel
- Experience in stockbroking/financial services preferred
- Team player with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Proactive, organised and able to prioritise under pressure
- Critical thinker with high accuracy
- Able to work 08:00-16:30, Monday - Friday in line with the opening times of the UK stock market
