Business Support Administration Apprentice

Location: Bromsgrove
Contract Type: 18-month Fixed Term Contract – 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm)
Salary: £13,778.79 per annum

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Business Support Administration Apprentice to join our established Business Support team. This apprenticeship provides an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to join a fantastic team in a fast-moving, progressive organisation, with a varied workload offering a real breadth of experience to begin their administrative career.

The successful candidate must be willing to complete the Business Administration Level 3 qualification, for which full study support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to departmental colleagues, including: procurement, insurance, social value, risk management, supplier services and executive support
  • Prepare data and reports as required
  • Maintain the department’s systems, databases and record-keeping
  • Respond to inbound telephone calls and manage outgoing and incoming mail
  • Manage office stocks of stationery and consumables
  • Communicate effectively with all customers, internal and external to the Group
  • Ensure security and strict confidentiality
  • Comply with Equal Opportunities Policy and Procedure in all employment practices
About You
  • GCSE/equivalent in Maths and English (this can be completed alongside your qualification if not already obtained)
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
  • Basic administration skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and work independently
