Location: Birmingham

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000

Benefits: NEST pension & 28 days annual leave

Schedule: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday

The Estimator Roofing Systems position involves handling a range of roofing services across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors such as flat roofing, pitched roofing, metal & zinc roofing, lead roofing, green roofs, and roof repairs.

• Review tender enquiries to understand project requirements.
• Liaise with clients to acquire any additional information required.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices.
• Produce formal quotations to clients.
• Maintain documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
• Estimate projects ranging in value up to approx £1m.

• Estimating experience within the roofing market sector.
• Experience in flat roofing, pitched roofing, metal & zinc roofing, lead roofing, green roofs, and roof repairs.
• Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numerical skills.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
• Confident and articulate individual.
